Daisy Lowe for Morgan............

Daisy Lowe has launched a capsule collection for French Fashion label Morgan, it contains mainly evening wear and some great accessories. The collection NIGHT OWL will only be available in France and is out November 4th.

I assisted Make up Artist Ashley Ward on creating these looks for Daisy and her friends. We shot all day in various locations and made a mighty mess with mounds of glitter.

Melanie Blatt also rocked up to join Daisy in a few shots, yes All Saints Melanie Blatt - Brilliant, what a hottie!

Matt Smith also popped in for a few drinks, yes I did call him Doctor Who and he does have a very nice voice.

Summer Feet ......

Now that feet are visible through the summer months, they need to look clean and tidy.

Get that old polish off!! Remove your nail colour as soon as it starts to chip, peel or grow out.

Once your feet are ready for summer the up keep is easy. Use a really good foot cream once a day and this will keep dry skin, cracked heels and winter cuticles at bay.

To get feet ready for summer -
Remove your colour with acetone free nail varnish remover (soak a cotton pad and hold it on the nail for a few seconds then pull off and away from your foot)

Soak your feet in warm water for 10mins. Add a little bath salts and oil to your water (The lactic acid in 1/4 cup of milk will loosen dead skin really well)

Scrub your feet and nails with a nail brush, coat the brush in body scrub first.

File your feet, you want to smooth that skin out. If you have quite a build up of skin use a metal foot file but be careful - you could be left with sore red feet and this skin will only grow back quicker and thicker to protect the skin you have just exposed.

Cut and file your toe nails. Keep the shape square, it's better for the toes and looks much more chic.

Buff the nails if you need to remove any staining or ridges.

Rinse your feet.

Massage olive oil into your feet, heels and nails.

Push cuticles down with an orange stick and remove any excess with cuticle snippers/scissors.

Apply a really good foot cream such as Flexitol Heel Balm (£4.99 Boots) - Amazing stuff!

Wipe each nail with a little nail varnish remover, this will insure you have a clean dry nail plate.

Apply a thin layer of base coat, 2 layers of colour and 1 layer of top coat. Wait for everything to dry in between layers. (Once finished leave them to dry for 20mins-if you can)

Apply a little more oil all over the foot and nails and pop them in cotton socks. This helps the products penetrate into your skin and not evaporate into the air.

-------------------------------------------------------

You can re-apply topcoat as they wear, to keep them looking new.

- Now just apply a foot cream or olive oil once a day

If you think there is something wrong with your toe nails, get them checked out - you could very easily loose your toe nails - not so pretty!

Love your feet and paint them pretty x

Trilogy Products.....

Trilogy - Advanced natural skincare designed to make life more beautiful, not more complicated.

These are beautiful, powerful, natural products. I've been using the famous Organic Rosehip Oil, which is 100% natural which comes in a 20ml pipette bottle for £16 and a 45ml for £28.

The oil helps to minimise the appearance of wrinkles, smoothing the skin and improving the skins moisture levels. I've been applying this to my scars and stretch marks for about 2 weeks and my skin definitely looks more even, radiant and smoother. If you're planning on wearing a bikini get those stretch marks looking the best they can.

You could use it anywhere, feet, face, body and hands.

Pure, green, natural and un-fragranced!

They also do this Everything Balm which I've mentioned before. 45ml for £12 and 95ml for £20. This can replace all the little pots and bottles of creams for lips, cuticles, dryness, feet and elbows.

Packed with the same rosehip oil and murula oil as well as jojoba, olive, avocado, honey and vitamin E. Amazingly nourishing ingredients with a very low chance of an allergic reaction.

Trilogy products are free from - Parabens, Mineral oils, SLS, Artificial colours and fragrances.

All the packaging is recyclables and they also support ethical trade practices!

What a great brand!

Mini MAC Shop....

So I picked up 3 items in MAC yesterday -
A 184 brush - which is great for applying cream blush products, gives a lovely light application.
A 228 brush - which is great for lip products as it fits perfectly into the cupids bow.
A Cremesheen Glass in Richer, Lusher. I'll be wearing this in Cyprus next week with my tropical turquoise bikini, both delicious.

My picture is showing the lip gloss quite true to colour. The online swatch at maccosmetics.co.uk isn't so correct. MAC swatch -

It's very similar to Essie Tart Deco if you add a little pink. Lovely non-sticky milky pinky coral.

A Calvin Klein Present......

My lovely mama picked up some Calvin Klein Cosmetics for me to try, these must be discontinued items as the price is marked down, which is a great way to try other brands. I have zero experience of Calvin Klein make up so was very excited to try them, I was pleasantly surprised.

The boxes are obviously white, with the logo embossed with a black uv varnish - very nice.

The items I have are:- 207 TuTu Splendid Colour Nail Enamel - which is a lovely nude pink, colours like this barley show chipping. £3 (normally £10)

112 Orange Too Delicious Luxury Creme Lipstick - which is a bright pinky orange with a tiny gold shimmer running through it. Great creamy texture and defiantly falls into my favourite lipstick shades. £3 (normally £15.50)

105 Peached Lip Definition Lip Pencil - which is very soft in texture, but that lasts really well on the lip, in a neutral plumy rose shade. It also comes with a separate pencil sharpener.£2.50 (normally £12)

The pencil itself has a high black gloss finish, the nail colour has a huge solid glass looking lid - in plastic though so it's not too heavy and the lipstick has the same black plastic casing with the large logo on the top. They all look very chic, I'm a proud owner.

Thank you Mama x x

Elle .... Out Now!

The Lily Allen cover is out now, go have a look!

Cover shot - Rankin, MU -Andrew Gallimore, H -Gareth Van Cuylenburg

Also a behind the scenes video on Elleuk.com .... unfortunately I'm not visible, I'm hiding behind Mr Gallimore.

Andrew used MAC products, mainly creams and a little loose pigments to create this beautiful grungy but soft smokey eye.

I love Lily
