Current Favourite Mascara......

Clinique High Lengths Mascara

Gives amazing length and volume.
Kind of paints on this jet black layer that really coats every single lash
I'm not normally too keen on these brushes, the plastic comb type. But this one is different again, its more flexible, slightly curved and has hundreds of little tiny teeth

I love it!

Fine for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearer (as I am)
Available online from Clinique or visit any beauty department!

One Day Tan..... By He-Shi

He-Shi One Day Tan

Wash Off Tinted Bronzing Gel

These wash off gel tan products are simply such a great invention, He-Shi has launched theirs and its no different.

I love the gel formula of these types of products, they work great for adding a sheer glow just to perk up the skin. The super light gel means it works well under make up, it wont feel like you have layers of products on and they are great for slightly oily skins. Can be worn alone or under make up, great for summer. Remember the face is generally always lighter than the body so this is a great one to match that back up or just to make your foundation a tiny bit darker.

You can use this all over the face and body, male or female.
Although it's name may suggest that it has a shimmer or 'bronzing' quality to it, it actually doesn't contain any shimmer - it's a sheer matt golden tan which will enhance your natural tones.

Non- sticky, super quick drying, so easy to apply, completely fool proof and helpfully moisturising.

It has a light fruity smell on application, once it's dry the fragrance is very minimal. The One Day Tan does not contain any active tanning ingredients so can be washed off at the end of each day. It’s a perfect temporary tanning solution for those last minute dates and special occasions,  and it looks great on the legs!

Suitable for all skin types

£14.50 Available from he-shi and Harvey Nichols

Hair Removal at Home?....

Oh, I'm so sick of the pulava that is hair removal.
I'm not interested in the down time that goes hand in hand with waxing, I'm not interested in the skin irritation that goes hand in hand with hair removal creams (or the smell!)
Shaving is fine for me, I've found my perfect razor, I have packets at a time but still I don't want to bother, I have to do it oh so often, I can never do it in a rush or in any other location other that the shower.

It's a bit of a nightmare for me........

So I've got my hands on the Boots Smooth Skin IPL Hair Reduction System.
These 'at home' kits, currently have mixed reviews, so I'm going to try this one out and let you know how it goes.
I'm sure it will provide different results for different skin and hair types as does laser in a salon.
But for reference I have olive skin and dark hairs - hopefully this means I'll get good results.

I'm letting you know about not, not after the review as it currently has £50 off plus a further £30 off if you use the code SMOOTH30 at Boots.com

This offer ends the 11th July
Discounted price is - £251.90

Check it out!

New Hair Product...New Brand

I wanted a product to nourish my coloured treated hair and just to smooth over the ends to make it look and feel healthier. I came across Argan Rescue by Gielly Green, as you can see the product looks great, its look expensive and I love the glass bottle. The product itself is a thick consistency that slowly oozes out of the pump, It smells similar to some of their other products which is like a gorgeous lemony summer perfume.

All you do with this is a few drops into the hands and spread evenly through the hair. The first few times I used it I did just that and styled my hair as normal. It's really lightweight yet makes my hair feel really smooth and soft. On my days off I, actually apply quite a bit and just pull my hair back, let it soak in all day then just shampoo as normal.

My hair is feeling amazing and it's kind of woken up my colour, it looks like it's just been dyed - which is great for us reds!

£19.50 50ml glass pump bottle from  http://shop.giellygreen.com/

Also, if you buy it online now you will receive a free travel size Hand and Body Wash and Hand and Body Lotion. These two come in these great 80's super slim black plastic tubes, I love them. These are definitely coming with me on my next trip. They have the similar lemony smell, so fresh so amazing.

I noticed on the website that they also do this gift box of travel sizes, such a good way to try them all out before you buy the big bottles. Or as a gift of course!
