Hotties for Halloween....

(Whilst we're here check out Zombie Boy for Dermablend -

Tigi Fun.....

You all know I'm a big fan of the Tigi Catwalk range so I thought I would try the latest collection from the Tigi Bed Head range. The Bed Head range is kind of how people know Tigi, the super bright colours of the packaging, the interesting smells, its a little bit younger and a little bit funner.

And they have just launched CANDY FIXATIONS...............which is all based on sugar and candy floss, meaning these treats smell like sweets....

SUGAR SHOCK - This is a Bodifying Sugar Spray for extreme texture, fullness and hold. It's quite a matt finish, kind of like a salt spray but minus the dryness. Great for getting that slightly unwashed texture back.

To me, it smells like a super sweet blackberry.

 £11.75  159ml

MEGA WHIP - Here we have a Whipped Marshmallow Hair Texturiser. This will help you achive a piecey style with great definition or give you a light texture with flexible hold. It's a paste with no stickiness.

For me, the smell is of milky ice cream chewits.

£12.50  105.5g

GLAZE HAZE - This one is a Semi-Sweet Smoothing Hair Serum which speeds up         drying time, fights humidity and of course, adds shine.

The smell of this one is...... creme brulee!

£10.50  60ml

TOTALLY BAKED - Tigi's Volumising and Prepping Hair Meringue. Again for great volume and texture and a long lasting boost of hold. Really does give great lasting volume.

This literally smells of lemon meringue pie - which is actually my favourite pud so I've been wearing this every day.

£12.50  240.5ml

SUGAR DUST - This little shaker is an Invisible Micro Texture Root Powder. Spinkle  it in at the roots for great lift and a great refresh. This also has a matt finish.

Unfortunately you cant smell this product as its so so super light.

£10.95  1g

So whilst I was busy with my new studio, I managed to miss the Dig The New Breed exhibition at Rankin's Annroy Gallery.......with my work up in it!

Loads of amazing images and I missed them all. Neil Francis Dawson shot ours with the lovely Amy Bannerman from Elle on styling and Takeshi Katoh on Hair. You can see them a little closer at  x

I used all Laura Mercier products on Alexandrina, for base we started with Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser, Secret Camouflage for any blemishes and small scars, Secret Concealer for under the eyes and a very light dusting of Loose Setting Powder just through the centre of the face.
To finish the base I added a tiny bit of contour with their Matte Bronze Bronzing Powder.

The lips were lined with Redwood Pencil, then filled with Creme Lip Colour in Bing Cherry, and topped with a gorgeous layer of Lip Velvet in Cassis - one of my favourite Laura Mercier lip products.

On the eyes I used the Metallic Creme Eye Colour in Burnished Copper as a base which gives this lovely sheen finish. Special Brown and Black Extreme Pencils blended along the lashline, top and bottom and finished up with layers and layers of Thickening and Building Mascara.

Hope you like it, let me know if you have any questions on the products or colours etc!
